Financial Literacy | Community Affairs
The Financial Literacy Committee provides community outreach projects focused on financial literacy. The Atlanta Chapter financial literacy programs are designed to empower high school youth, college students, and low to moderate income adults with money management skills to increase their awareness of financial options and strategies. The Financial Literacy Committee also partners with Junior Achievement, a not-for-profit organization, to deliver a financial education to youth at local Atlanta schools. The Community Affairs Committee is also responsible for coordinating the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA), Empty Stocking Fund, and other community volunteer efforts. The overall goal of this committee is to increase financial literacy within our community and provide members with an opportunity to give back.
